This is How We Roll Since I get asked frequently about the half luminar diameter of an egg sandwich in the middle of a crappy summer coldish flu synapsing with the shutter speed of my dial-up coexisting internet connection and the impact of that on my behaviour as a great sandwich maker, I thought I will make it easier for people to get through the whole process here :) Which Camera ? I am that Nikon guy 90% of the time, I shoot with the nikon system because I just love it, I also shoot with medium format cameras with digital resolution of up to 80 MP, all depends on the assignment and what's required in the production, I will shoot with the Canon system if my client has a certain preference. Lighting ? Well that's a big fat question !! I use many different lighting systems and modifiers, but the ones I most commonly use are : Broncolor Elinchrom Bowens Studio / On Location ? Depending on the vision and the final sketch we are going for, sometimes it's better to shoot in the studio, some other times it's not, Should we build our own set ? Yes .. indeed if we have to :) Do you provide Art Direction ? I am responsible for the creative process of image making, if that gives me the right to call myself an art director, then I might be one, however I have art directors in my team who will work their ass off to give you that edgy idea that will hold people still when they see your next advertising campaign . Retouching ? I am not a digital retoucher in the sense that I accept work as a retoucher, I however retouch all my images and believe its a strong element in the process of making cutting edge photographs, it could add alot or take alot out of an image. 2D/3D/CGI ? I provide 2D/3D composite images, digital environment creation and matte painting for film, if the production/client/vision require that we implement CGI ( Computer Generated Imagery ) , then we are partners with the best CGI freaks in Toronto/Brazil and we have a strong creative team that will knock the heck out of your socks :) let us know it, we will do it.
